drbvac Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Don't even remember where I got this but I happened to be watching one of those action movies the other day and the "bad oriental gang lord" had the same one in a fight in a loading crane at a seaport! Anyway - hard to see the blade but it has a nice little copper habaki and a blade that at least is the correct shape and has a boshi, hamon if there is straight. Cant see any mekugi or screws so no idea if it will come apart - when together looks iike a birch stick! Quote
Mark Green Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Looks very much like this one, that is now owned by board member Matt. This one has the best sword I have ever seen in a cane. Some old Samurai wasn't going to give up his sword after the ban. Mark G Quote
