DTM72 Posted September 1, 2022 Report Posted September 1, 2022 Not looking to have every line translated but what does the top line translate to? I am guessing this is Naval due to the anchor on the lower right side. Thanks in advance! Dan 1 Quote
SteveM Posted September 1, 2022 Report Posted September 1, 2022 The line at the top is 祈武運長久 (written right to left). "Everlasting luck in battle". Nearly ubiquitous on these types of flags. All the other lines are names, with a few having slogans plus names. No name of the person to whom the flag was presented as far as I can see. The red stamp in the bottom right is too tough to make out. Presumably the stamp from a shrine. 1 1 Quote
uwe Posted September 1, 2022 Report Posted September 1, 2022 „祈武運長久“ Pray for good fortune and safety in war, I think! 1 Quote
