Showa era smith with the somewhat rough chiseled signature. This smith's real name was 小見山 良造 - Komiyama Ryozo, and their name appears in the Seki Tanrensho Booklet printed in 1939. Quote
mecox Posted June 7, 2022 Report Posted June 7, 2022 As noted above, YOSHISHIGE, real name Komiyama Ryozo (uncommon kanji for "yoshi" 良 which can be read as "yoshi" and "ryo"), born Meiji 35 (1902) January 19. He registered as a Seki swordsmith Showa 17 (1942) November 1 (at age 40) and then was living in Seki, Tokiwa-cho. 1 Quote
