Is this Nakago alright looking?

I know a bit about Japanese Swords and I've seen fake swords and their nakagos. This one seems off but doesn’t seem super fake from the ones I’ve seen.

without seeing the rest of the blade, this NAKAGO (there is no plural form in Japanese nouns) looks as fake/non-Japanese as it gets. You will easily see that yourself when you compare with authentic blades.

I didn’t really believe it to be real unfortunately. But I appreciate it!

if you take the HABAKI off, you will probably see that the MACHI (notches on back and cutting edge) do not align. That would then be a safe sign that the blade is not authentic.
