Stephen Posted November 30, 2021 Report Posted November 30, 2021 When i posted happy birthday Guido I asked Bobby h if he had heard from him because Guido never responded on FB very un like him. Bobby did some checking week or so ago and just heard back. My greatest fear, prayers out to Guido for a full recovery. From Robert Hi Stephen….. bad news…. Guido suffered a very serious stroke. I spoke to Minako, his wife, and she said he has been in intensive care since October. Barely conscious… no speech and serious paralysis. Send some positive energy his way! Stay well! Robert 10 1
Brian Posted November 30, 2021 Report Posted November 30, 2021 I've moved this here because it needs to be in the public view. This is heartbreaking and shocking news. I am devastated. Those really IN the Nihonto world all know Guido. He's a legend and a character. Seriously connected, and a German diplomat. Although he comes across gruff, he's a great guy with serious knowledge and one of the best guys you want to hang out with in Tokyo. My prayers go out to you big man. You fight this, and come back to us. Wishing him slow but steady improvement, lots of us will be thinking of ya! 8 1
