Hello members,

Do you have any idea about the translation of the 3 last kanji ?
First ones (right side) are "Nagato", and the last one (left side) seems to be "Kore" or "Yuki". But the other two are a real problem for me.

Thanks !

Right side

長門

Left side

怒造之?

I should say I looked for a smith who used 怒 in his name, but couldn't find any. So there is a good chance I am wrong about the name.

Steve and Piers, thank you very much for your replies.

Steve, your translation seems to be good or almost good. A little doubt on this one :

I also didn't find a match with a name... Nothing in the Haynes or Kinko Meikan.

I looked at that also with no luck. Could also be 恏 , but that's even more obscure, and therefore (I feel) unlikely.

I feel I'm missing something obvious.

The top left and bottom radicals are definitely 女 and 心. I  personally think  it's 怒, and rather than the name of the maker, it's possible that 怒造之 simply means 'this was made in anger'
