Found a magnificent Masayuki dated 1839 that sold for $400,000, this blade was illustrated in B. W. Robinson, The Arts of the Japanese sword plate 22c.  It happens to be the same year of the one that brought all the babbling and hype, I've ever seen. There is no comparison, which one is genuine. Also, a heartbreaker,  Masayuki wakizashi from the D. Blumenfeldt collection, fetched $130,000. Maybe someone can post the (photo) page, as my camera is out of order. Peace.
