Robin Posted April 29, 2019 Report Posted April 29, 2019 The Izakaya or inhere ....I think Japanese gardens are an art, so I guess it deserves to be here. Anyway...."we" have a lovely Japanese garden in the Hague (the Netherlands). Only open for several weeks per year. Hope you like it, thanks for watching. Robin 11 Quote
John A Stuart Posted April 29, 2019 Report Posted April 29, 2019 Anything that calms the mind, soothes the soul or entices reflective mood is art, and gardens are art. This is the proper place in my mind. Even suiseki is art and they are natural formations. John 5 Quote
TETSUGENDO Posted April 29, 2019 Report Posted April 29, 2019 Lovely photos Robin, what a glorious place. Of course I had to dig into it's facinating history, I suggest anyone interested do the same. Thought some may enjoy a photograph of America's oldest Japanese Garden. The "Japanese Tea Garden" was originally built as a "Japanese Village" for the 1894 San Francisco World's Fair. -S- 5 Quote
