This socket yari is unsigned measures

Someone needs to tell him that isn't a socket yari.

No signs of hamon or hada at all..I hope they are there after polish. :dunno:

Yes, it might be a cheap buy, but the polish will not be cheap, for sure. Then, you don't know if hamon shows up at all. Besides, it seems from those pics that the nakago has been "cleaned" at some point.

I noticed the misnomer as well and thought uneducated fellow. Polish is bad so can't comment on the attributes, but, as with all e-bay auctions there is a gamble to it. I was not promoting this yari just pointing it out. John

John,

There was never any doubt about this. I also like to point out eBay items which are of interest to me and which could be of interest to others. This is undoubtedly such an item :-)

This type of yari is on of the most expensive to get polished.

Its a big risk to buy a "project".. And its not often worth the cost , waiting, and risk.

Its better to buy one that is polished.

I have bought from this seller, and wont do that igane..Newer, ever. :dunno:

Less is more, and more is less...

We are always referring to polishing price :

Some polishers, as Zenon Van Damme, shall charge around 60 Euro/inch (Bruges/Belgium).

Everybody states that Jumonji yari polishing is expensive. What could be the cost?
