Krystian Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 Hello, Need some help with reading this NBTHK origami. Best Regards, Krystian Quote
MauroP Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Here what I can read: 黒塗小刻脇指拵 - kuro nuri ko-kizami wakizashi koshirae 縁頭 ?銅 赤銅地 - fuchikashira ??? shakudō-ji 目貫 ??図 ?銅 赤銅地 - menuki ??? zu ??? shakudō-ji 鐔 ?銅地 丸形 - tsuba ???-ji maru-gata (小柄穴) - (kozuka-ana) The elusive kanji could be 真, so 真銅 = shinchū. SteveM Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Missing bits 素銅赤銅地 = suaka shakudo-ji 定規図素銅 = jōgi-no-zu suaka... in parenthesis after tsuba (鐔) 小柄欠 = kozuka kake(ru) = missing kozuka 1 Quote
Bugyotsuji Posted December 7, 2017 Report Posted December 7, 2017 Showa 53, 11 March, 'Tokubetsu Kicho'. Kozuka 欠, kake(ru), often read 'ketsu'. Sometimes that kind of saya is called Inro kizami, I believe. Quote
