Another translation that has eluded me.  This is from a nicely made jumonji yari, nagasa around 16cm, ko-itame hada and slightly irregular suguha.

The first two characters don't correspond to a province name as best I can tell, and the last 6 look a lot like Fujiwara Kuni Ju Saku Kore which makes the construction of the mei look unusual.  Nakago is very narrow being only about 8mm by the time you get down to the Kore character.  Any help appreciated.

What Patrick said.

東武 於 [ ] 鳥?? 藤原国住作

Tobu oite [ ] tori?? Fujiwara Kuni sumi saku kore

I've added a little more but I can't get one character and I'm not sure of another.

Hi,

I don't know if it is the same smith of

孩州松山臣藤原國住
yoshū matsuyama-shin fujiwara kunisumi

or an other mei of him or the nidai.

I remember a jumonji yari of him with only fujiwara kunisumi.

This one made many yari and jumonji yari.

In the Nihonto Meikan, 国住 is read as Kunizumi. Four smiths are given, but only one seems related to 武蔵 Musashi.

*However, the Nidai Kunizumi mentioned by Patrick above is listed as making yari, living in Edo at one time, Kuniyoshi Mon, and working around Ansei.
