Brian Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 All, It has been suggested that since the tickets are sold out, and we are not selling anymore, that maybe I should bring the raffle draw a bit closer instead of on the 1st January. Another reason is that since the books are drawn according to first ticket drawn gets his choice, then the next etc etc..it may take some time to allocate all of those prizes. So I would like to ask if anyone has any objections to bringing forward the ticket draw to say Christmas day? (25th) I don't mind either way, so let's see if we have any objections. Nice simple vote. Jean Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 Ok I am ready to post the prizes :D :D :D Quote
Gabriel L Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 Given that all tickets are sold out, I personally cannot think of any objections. Quote
pcfarrar Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 It could also be fair to limit each person to 1 prize maximum? Quote
Bungo Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 It could also be fair to limit each person to 1 prize maximum? granted I only purchased one ticket but you can't change the rule in the middle of the game. milt Quote
Brian Posted December 22, 2007 Author Report Posted December 22, 2007 Sorry Peter.. Some bought many tickets, and it is only fair that one ticket, one chance. The more tickets, the more chances Each ticket has a number. The draw program will draw the 19 random numbers in order, none are re-used. Sounds like 25th is agreed upon, but I'll check the votes same time tomorrow and announce the change. Thanks all. Brian Quote
