I was thinking a while, wether I should post this, but since I got this attachement (amongst others) through an e-mail via circular-mail yesterday by the decent and honorable gentleman, who presides the british Token-Kai and his intention is to clear a case of theft, I decided to do so. Nevertheless I would understand it, if the moderators of this forum decided to not post it. If you REALLY have some informations on this case, you can get additional pics of the katana and its koshirae by me or any member of the european branch of the N.B.T.H.K. It seems to be mumei and we didn't get any pics of papers. You can contact me under:

Some of you might have asked yourselves in the past, why I detest SOME of the online business so much. This is the perfect example for illustration.

I'm aware that this kind of language does not belong here. So if you don't want to be bothered by it, just ignore this post

OK... I just found the website associated with this.... it is nothing to do with xxxxx.com....

I will let the members do their own google to find the site... ... this might get political as I am sure lots of people know both of the correspondents....

Cheers!

Ok, I deleted the attachment, much as I'd like to keep the info here.

This is the ongoing and severe dispute between Lou and Kurt that has been going on for a while now, and I honestly feel that the state it is in now, it is going to have to go to legal action, and the info is probably best left out of the public eye. This is a particularly nastly one, and death threats do not help the situation at all.

Let's let this one take its natural course and hopefully it does have some resolution eventually.

I understand your point Brian, but what about warning innocent customers about a particular online seller' behaviors?

If i were to buy something from this guy, i sure would like to see this piece of info so i could avoid him...

Anyways thats just me.

I agree with you Remy, but this case is simply too complex and at an advanced stage to get involved now. There are friends and acquaintances here of both sides, and this is one I just don't want to go near.

I am sure someone will pm you the names if they want to. Consider this one closed for now unless the situation changes.

Hi Brian,

Obviously you know much more about this argument than I do. I'm neither familiar with the case nor do I know the opponents. Since the origin of this call for help is fully trustworthy, I decided to involve the NMB for mostly one reason: If I were in the situation of needing help with stolen swords, I would appreciate all the help I could get. Since this case seems to be much more complex, I hope you don't mind having involved the forum and causing you any trouble.

It's no trouble, and I don't mind the forum getting involved. However if a case is pending then it is best for everyone and especially the claimant that he keep his info to himself until the case is concluded. You don't make claims and show evidence until the matter is settled legally, as you prejudice your own case. The matter concerns a consigned sword that allegedly was sold and the monies neither passed on, nor the sword returned. There is obviously more to it than that, and without the full story, I am not touching this one.

Just a reminder that if you consign any items, get a watertight agreement.
