Kevin Adams Posted May 30, 2016 Report Posted May 30, 2016 Evening all! In an effort to quickly raise funds for my upcoming trip to attend the NBSK awards ceremony in Japan, I'm also offering this piece for sale. I made this during Ford's recent tsuba-making class in New Hampshire, both as a demonstration tool for the students (forging and shaping) and as an exercise in influencing that Umetada-esque plate "wobble" that I love so much. I guess it's sort of a collaborative piece, in that the magatama motif was Ford's suggestion and the gold inlay is a demonstration that he did for the class once I finished the shaping. Copper base with gold inlay. 67mm x 75mm x 3mm at the seppa-dai). Will ship with a custom-fit kiribako. $750 USD plus shipping and Paypal fees, if applicable. Thanks!
