cjbow320 Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Hi All, I have been trying my hand at translating and having some success. I was trying to translate this one and have not found the first kanji anywhere(or at least what I think looks like it). The second is da or ta and the last is masa I believe. Thank you for helping me learn. Cheers Chris Quote
cjbow320 Posted April 1, 2014 Author Report Posted April 1, 2014 Hi John, Thank you much. I really screwed this one up. Committed it to memory. Never heard of this smith until now. Cheers, Chris Quote
John A Stuart Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Me neither. Reading?? Kushida Sei and others. Need the gunto guys. John Quote
george trotter Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 It does look like Kushida as John said. This is a family and personal name, which is a bit unusual when just written like that with no additional information (place, made for, made by...etc), so maybe the owner's name? Is there any inscription on the other side? Regards, Quote
