Medina San1 Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 This yari was one of the items I got today its pitted and not signed is this something worth restoring?... whats your opinion?? Dan Quote
b.hennick Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 Hi Dan: Hard to tell from the images. It is also difficult to find someone who polishes yari. They are difficult to polish. You can take the tsuba and yari to sword show and get opinions there. The next show is in April in Chicago. If you go you will get an opportunity to see many many tsuba and a few yari as well as a lot of swords. Quote
Grey Doffin Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 Hi Dan, Go to FAQ and look up the one about beginners wanting to buy, polish, mount, and paper, all before they have enough knowledge to do any of it sensibly. Go slow. Grey Quote

Now I need to learn what to look for in Tsuba.. again thank you all in my learning quest.. Dan.. Quote
