Hi Dan:

Hard to tell from the images. It is also difficult to find someone who polishes yari. They are difficult to polish. You can take the tsuba and yari to sword show and get opinions there. The next show is in April in Chicago. If you go you will get an opportunity to see many many tsuba and a few yari as well as a lot of swords.

Hi Dan,

Go to FAQ and look up the one about beginners wanting to buy, polish, mount, and paper, all before they have enough knowledge to do any of it sensibly. Go slow.

Thank you all for the comments and help.... Yes I bought all of these yesterday... I had bought a sword from this person before that actually papered to Omi daijo Tadahiro 74 pts, so did not question or look closely at the tsuba.. my bag live and learn lol...I know a little at what to look for in swords I was taught by Ron Shibata... Now I need to learn what to look for in Tsuba.. again thank you all in my learning quest..
