could be SANSHU....no JU MINAMOTO YUKIMICHI, 74 years old. Somebody here will have the good books to look this one up. Pictures of the whole blade and details are always appreciated!

I have translated same thing for the mei (Mikawa nishio ju minamoto Yukimichi nana ju yon san zo kore

), but i don't find any information in all my books.....

 

Nagasa 25,4 cm, moto 2,54 cm kasane 0,75 cm dated of 1846

thin sugu ha in ko nie and some hataraki but need a polish.

However not a bad blade.

May be we can made to this board a list of these unknown smiths with an oshigata ???????

I had planned on going to new software over December, but turns out I had a lot less time than I thought and a lot more questions about paid software. However, it is planned asap, and when we do that, we will have photoalbums too. So we will be able to have a section for unknown previously unrecorded smiths and their oshigata. Definitely planned.
