Stephen Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 Pete there was a huge amount of repros via china but id say yours looks ok. Military collectors search for them a lot, used to be under a buck but nowday i cant tell you as i dont set up at gunshows anymore...maybe two hundi?? Quote
Mark Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 hard to say about the scabbard as someone has wrapped it. If the scabbard is ok and matching the sword would sell in the $175-250 range in my area. The leather knot looks like an NCO knot, it should be worth $100-150 Quote
peter Posted August 17, 2013 Author Report Posted August 17, 2013 Thanks Guys I thought the wrap on saya was a war add on. Worth taking of the reveal saya or leave alone? Peter Quote
Kai-Gunto Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 Its either a army cavalry or NCO 1899 pattern. It depends on the length. The knot is worth prox. the same as the sabre. Quote
