Curran Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 Someone else will probably nail this, but looks like you have a bastardly version of "shige" So the name is "Shige _____" I cannot recognize the second character offhand, but first character is an offhand version of shige used by certain makers, mostly in 1800s. Ludolf Richter Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 Hi,I have checked all the index books (including the "Bible":Iida+Wakayama,"Kinko Jiten") plus my database:there is no artist known with name Saitô and Go Shige-yoshi/tomi/toshi/mura/moto.Even if the 1st Kanji is not Shige but Taka/Toyo/Moto:no result.Maybe the artist is known with a different Go?!Ludolf Quote
