Also a link to Osaka Museum website in English: http://www.chikatsu-asuka.jp/chikatsuasukafudoki.html Cheers Quote
Brian Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Very interesting link Malcolm, thanks for sharing. Moved to Katchu where it is more relevant. In addition to armor, as many as 153 iron swords, 16 iron daggers, and some 740 iron arrowheads were also found at the site Can I just have one or 2 please? Even artifacts make for great displays. Lindus Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Many thanks Malcolm. Is this what you do all day in Gods own city Brian Agree totally, had a relic katana which came with a good Hambo, both dug up form a pit at the back of a theater being demolished. Mounted the sword on a stand made from bog oak and every collector that visited just loved the poor old thing. Positive factor is no shinsa, debates on quality or polish cost.....everyone should have at least one in that condition. Regards Roy Quote
