woodblock print sword book

Now and then you see these type of books on ebay and other auction sites. Mostly they sell for somewhere between 20 and 150 usd. I don´t think there is 450 usd of value in this one but I could be wrong, hard to tell from the limited info provided by the seller. It looks in decent shape, but personally I would not pay more than 100 usd for it.

I have a very similar little book that is dated Taisho 6h year. Whilst of interest, it is of little practical use as a sword book. I see that I offered it for sale years ago at the San Francisco show and a note inside it says that I was asking $50, but I still have it.

And original as it is coloured. There were reprints of this in the showa period only worth about $20. Neat stuff but not very useful unless you have a specific sword/smith listed annd youd like to have all available info. Much better info available for much less in more recent publications...
