Somebody sure does like those tigers! I was kind of expecting a big flurry of bids at close but it looks like the snipers got blown out early on this one.

Let me explain my opinion.... the tigers are nice! the saya is hideous (personal opinion and taste) the blade i dont like at all since i find it too much like damasceners, even though of course it will be real...

 

and i am happy for you you sold it!

The sword belonged to my brother. Had to sell it to fund the purchase of a new gendaito katana.

 

The fittings were very nice, the fuchi was signed with a big name, I forget who but we always assumed it was gimei. The tsuba was also very nice, I wish I'd kept it.

 

The saya was a bit flashy, but its unique :lol:
