Help with signature.

Can anyone tell me the meaning of first three kanji? I think that last two kanji are the name of the smith "Kane mune??".

My sword was brought from America to our family by my grandfathers brother as a gift, he served in US Navy as a pilot in Pacific in ww2. Because obviously nobody put much attention on it, I try to collect as much as possible information of the sword and try to preserve it. The sword was a log time kept under the key (out of the childrens hands) in a "lumber room", I am worried abou it s condition (dark spots on the blade-rust).

Thanks for any replay.

Thank s mr. Stephen for replay,

Is it possible to have katana two signed smith s. Masanao and Kanemune? Looks that upper thre kanji were made by diferent tool (wide notches).

Sei (Sane, Masa) shi

正眞予

Just fishing here as I do not know much at all about Showa smiths but the third kanji may well be Shi and Sei or Sho is also a good chance for the first. Much like Suishinshi or Ryusaishi etc. A family or art name name.

The middle kanji is not right I am sure but it's fun fishing :-)

Cheers
