Could some one please help me with this sword ? It originally came from a collector who acquired it from America a number of years ago .. The sword is in good polish and came with the tassle and a leather sword hanger .. the saya has some light wear

Many thanks for your comment ... The sword tassel does this indicate any rank or is it the same as the later Kai Gunto brown generic Navy Tassel? Gareth

Naval Parade Sabre Marks ?

I have this small naval sword which I believe is the Parade Sabre . The blade is the plated type and the sword came with the attatched tassle . Many thanks Gareth
