  1. Hello Everyone, Of all areas, kozuka seems to be the most difficult, at least for me. They range from a couple hundred dollars to over $1000. I'm not sure how one (like Aoi Japan) determines the price...signature aside. I have attached photos for review. Thanks All. Greg PS: Likely the last time I purchase a kozuka
  2. I should rephrase "cultural value". All kozuka have a history and importance. Is the cost justified using a skilled craftsman in this case? Hard to say, without a knowledgeable understanding of this particular kozuka.
  3. Thank you for your replies. Is this a somewhat common problem for a kozuka? If I was able to determine it's cultural value, that would go along way whether to use a skilled craftsman.
