What should happen to collections?

Psychological factors can play a role in both the motivation for keeping a collection and the impact it has on the collector's life. These factors can be positive or negative.  Collecting can sometimes reflect a fear of scarcity, or of discarding something then later regretting it.  Peace and happiness to all.

Some of us may need a 12 step program. A fellow collector I know had a problem with his aortic valve when he was 40. Twenty-some years later the problem has resurfaced and the thing that worries him the most is that this might interfere with a new addition he made that is in transit!

When St. Francis was cutting grass, some pilgrims came by and asked him, "Francis, what would you do if you had to die tomorrow." His answer was, continue to mow.

Harry, i think his collection will help him to live another 20 years because he had no time to die  :glee:
