Feedback/opinions - eBay seller 'hitendo' (Yasukazu Onishi)?

Hi all,

 

Just wondering if anyone has any experience in dealing with eBay seller 'hitendo' (Yasukazu Onishi): http://www.ebay.com/sch/hitendo/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

 

Alternatively, I'd be interested to hear what you think about the pieces listed there - quality, price, and so on.

There were several sword shops run by members of the Onishi family in Japan. My bet is that this seller is related....

Purely on personal experience, I have over the years bought the occasional item from this seller. A blade some time ago and tosogu more recently whilst buying on behalf of a friend. In all cases the items were accurately described and my questions were answered promptly and honestly. Extra pics were sent on request and all the transactions were most satisfactory and trouble free. :D

Have purchased a number of tsuba from this fellow. He has always been honest, flexible and prompt in shipping. Wouldnt hesitate to do business with him again.

Hi Everyone,

 

I purchased a NBTHK Hozon papered tsuba from him. The tsuba is wonderful and the shinsa paper is real. I have added him as a favorite seller on eBay. I would and I will deal with him in the future.
