Bruno Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 Hi all, I bought this kakemono few years ago for decorative purpose. Certainly not a great piece of art but fine enough to me. Till now, I did not pay attention to the mei, the cusive kanji make me enable to translate them. I am asking for help to know what is the painter's name. Thank in advance. Quote
Bruno Posted August 28, 2011 Author Report Posted August 28, 2011 Here is a close up of the mei. Quote
k morita Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 Hi, A standard pronunciation of the signature is Yoko(Yoh-koh). However, it might have the variant pronunciation more. Quote
