Drago Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 Okay, well, I am currently looking for an affordable signed wakizashi or katana. (about 1650 or koto, signed, preferably with certificate, $2000 max) My other suggestion lead to some doubts about the quality/state of the blade, so I kept looking and found this (a few pic links): http://www.ryujinswords.com/Pictures/Sw ... What do you think? Thanks. Quote
cabowen Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 The mei looks clumsy to me- look at the kanji for fuji 藤 and compare to valid examples....In my opinion this is gimei.... Quote
Kevin Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Hmm! Grey had the opposite opinion when he sold it to me, Chris. Don't recall anyone here disagreeing with him and suggesting gimei when he advertised it on NMB. Kevin Quote
Toryu2020 Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 In fact I think as Jacques has pointed out there is greatest difference in the -Jo kanji... -t Quote
