Paul Martin Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 Hi All, It is time to fight the man again. Multi million dollar Kodansha publishing company want to tear down Noma dojo as it does not suit them to have a historically important dojo on their grounds. Before the war, Noma dojo was one of the four great dojo of the eastern capital. Now it is the only remaining one. It was the site of the last kendo competition that was attended by the Emperor, and the dojo of the most famous sensei of the 20th century Mochida Moriji sensei. Please support our opposition to tearing down such a wonderful dojo and memorable experience for visiting kendoka. Here is a link for our petition to save Noma dojo. http://www.petitiononline.com/savenoma/petition.html Best Paul Quote

Bungo Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 I read " open to the world "..............what's with Sawako Noma President and CEO of Kodansha Ltd.? Not dealing in high finance in any stretch of the imagination ( unless I won the Mega Million 370 million jackpot last night ) but it makes no sense esp. the Noma's name is closely associated to Kodansha.............. milt the ronin Quote
