An NCO Shin Gunto? The lowest of the low as far as art swords go. Machine made, mass produced. Only of interest to militaria collectors. If you have an interest in these, I am sure you would have Jim's books or F&G. They would identify the logo as the Iijima Sword Factory logo. Why are you researching it?

I'm in the process of obtaining F&G's books.....

 

I'm interested in Japanese military blades as well as nihonto. Japanese naval dirks / daggers, shin-gunto, kyu gunto, police sabres, etc.....

I'm interested in Japanese edged weapons that have been used, as much as I'm interested in art swords...
