Hi Robert,

I thought the regulations had changed and that it was impossible to send swords to Canada, but if you know a way, I would be very happy to ship the blade to Canada. When you receive blades from Japan, which company handles the delivery? I will go check on Monday morning at the post office.

Have a great weekend.

That's what I thought. So it is a typo in your text above:

....This blade is a Muromachi period Wakizashi signed: Nōshū no jū Kanetsugu (濃州之住兼辻)....

No limitations to Canada to my knowledge; I have had no issues importing a few, all through EMS on the Japan side and Canada Post on the Canadian side.

Erratum: I made a mistake in the translation of the signature in the description. The sword is signed Kanetsuji, not Kanetsugu. The correct signature is Kanetsuji.
