Hello:

I was interested in several of their items, namely the teppo and armor stuff they carry. But I know absolutely nothing about that stuff and how to spot fakes. 

Just as a general opinion, do you all think the stuff they are selling seems legit? I know some folks won't comment on specific items, however I was hoping for a general opinion.

Teppo was probably the wrong term. Maybe tanegashima is more accruate?

Those barrels are both the same, originally matchlock but subsequently converted to percussion cap firing system.

 

The flintlock is a Western-style pistol. Some of these were made in Japan though, of varying quality, and do occasionally crop up. Very much the exception.

I haven't purchased any blades from him, but I have bought some accessories like tsuba and fittings. He ships quickly and I've had no problems with him.
