Wakizashi signed Noshu Seki Ju Kanesada. A Nosada or Koresada variant. Being primarily a tsuba guy, I do not have many sword references, so I am looking for opinions from those more knowledgeable than me if this one is gimei, or is it interesting enough to pursue shinsa? The sword otherwise has Mino Den characteristics. I am aware Nosada gimei is often encountered, so even though a long shot, I would like to check it out.

Unfortunately gimei, the ji Seki is engraved in a wrong maner

Here we go again. I think you have a template with that reply, don't you Jacques?

PS. Just to be clear Jacques, stating "it is Gimei in MY opinion" is way different than stating "IT IS Gimei" ... Cheers!

@Tim Evans Maybe I think it will be better if you post more pictures. Members can judge attribution based on the blade and not only based on the Mei.

You have to prove that it's not a gimei...

As requested, images of the sword.

Length is 480mm, width at machi 24.5mm, thickness at machi 6mm. The sword is in old polish, so somewhat faded. Hamon is very white with a bright nioiguchi.

Dear Tim,

Please compare the hamon and the tang with a real Kanesada. Unfortunately it doesnt match. Even if it is Mino related my guess would go to Shinto Jumyo.
