Hello everyone,
I'd like to share my excitement with you. My first traditionally forged sword! Since I'm relatively new to this hobby, it's a very special thing for me.
The Sword itself was shipped from Japan including NBTHK documents.

Details about the blade:

Early Edo period, around 1659

Blade length: approx. 68 cm

Origin: Kaga-Sagami Province
Sword is not singned

Unfortunately, I couldn't find much information about the family crest.

looks like the kanji for 3.

the mind goes to the kikkawa clan first but this different, the sizing of the horizontal lines looks the same as san (3)

Thanks a lot guys. I just checked the thread and found a sword with an identical Mon. It was attributed to the  Inaba , just like Bruce said.

Very, very nice! By the chance, did you get it from an Italian guy?

Yes, from giapponeserie
A very nice seller. He sold the sword on commission for a Japanese shop and took care of the entire import process etc.
