NewbieSwordGuy Posted June 25 Report Posted June 25 Hello. I am completely new to the world of Japanese swords. The research I have done so far has yielded few useful results so I am turning to you experts. I believe the lone character near the guard is Seki. Other than that, I am at a loss. Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Quote

The Seki stamp means it isn’t a traditionally made blade and was made during or just prior to WW2. Another example of this signature here (which is where I took the reading from): 4 Quote
