SteveM Posted June 15, 2025 Report Posted June 15, 2025 Inside of the cup says "commendation" Outside of the cup has the date of Showa 9 (1934), and looks like these were presented to some support group for Imajō Station, in Fukui Prefecture. 3 Quote

ClareBk Posted December 15, 2025 Report Posted December 15, 2025 I am a volunteer with the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney who investigates any type of Japanese antiquity. We are also looking for assistance with translation of military memorial sake cups. Both memorial sake cups from the Russo Japanese war are made from clay from the Hill of 203. Would someone be able to assist us also with a translation of Chinese Script writing on both items please? VID-20240812-WA0000.mp4 VID-20240930-WA0004.mp4 1 Quote
