sencho Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 This is a nice site, especially for anyone who works with .eps files, Adobe Illustrator and the like... They have quite a nice library of free kamon all in vector data so you can edit it and use it easily for designs of any resolution ...... and some nice flash on the front page too... watch the volume and if anyone is susceptible for fast flickering images, be prepared for a spasm.. enjoy! http://eps.crest-Japan.net/index_en.php Cheers! John A Stuart Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 They open directly to photoshop cs3 or 4 as eps files. Handy. John Quote
ottou812 Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 I have that link but 300 is less than 10 percent of all the Japanese crests out there. So it's not a comprehensive resource. As for eps files, the more preferred format for me is svg. For those that can't open eps but can open pdf files, there is a free online resource for coverting eps files to numerous other formats including pdf. I also prefer the freeware Inkscape for vector drawing. Quote
