Brian Posted February 15, 2024 Report Posted February 15, 2024 Chinese fake, sorry. NEVER buy any "Japanese" Gunto sword with any flag or other crude engraving on the blade. It's a dead giveaway. Plus this doesn't conform to any of the Type 95 variants out there. 4 Quote
robinalexander Posted February 15, 2024 Report Posted February 15, 2024 Hello Winston, As Brian indicated, it is a bad copy of a Japanese Army (IJA) NCO's sword. Nothing to be gained by removing the handle (tsuka) on this or any other authentic NCO sword...there is nothing under there to see.
