george trotter Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Hi Andy, not much to tell you...he was Matsuda Kanetaka...real name Matsuda Takaichi. Became Seki Gunto Tosho on Showa 14 year 10 month 26 day (26 Oct 1939). You will see his swords with Sho and Seki stamp. A pic of his mei is on Rich Steins Showa Oshigata list which you can access via the "links" tab at top of page, click on "Information" click on "Japanese Sword Index" and then the "Showa Oshigata List" at lower left of page.
