I think that the nagasa was stored in a type of bubble wrap which left a plastic residue or maybe its just the metal grain . . . . .

That Katana registration card has to be surrendered in Japan before export. It’s dated December of Reiwa 4, so very recent.

You can hang onto it when you leave, but it has to be returned within 90 days, I think. This is what it was like a few years ago.
