According to Markus Sesko's Swordsmiths of Japan, Ikeda Masayuki (MAS1457) was born in 1938, and your blade doesn't look like it was made by a toddler ;-)

 

It was probably made by Miwa Masayuki (see here for a matching oshigata):

Thanks I didn’t see any other showa era swordsmiths by that name. I took a shot in the dark. Thanks for the info.
