Bruce Pennington Posted October 22, 2021 Report Posted October 22, 2021 Tony, Are any of the fittings stamped with "1550"? And could I get a shot of the whole gunto? Quote
Bruce Pennington Posted October 22, 2021 Report Posted October 22, 2021 Interesting - Katsumasa was one of the few non-RJT smiths with numbered blades, and I now have 4 of his: Jan 1943 "133" Jan 1943 "168" May 1943 "1550" Dec 1944 "254" And he is the only observed Nagoya stamped smith with numbered blades. Bruce Pennington Posted November 8, 2021 Report Posted November 8, 2021 Tony, Someone at Wehrmacht-awards, HERE is asking about this gunto. He didn't say where he's seen it, but it looks like someone else won that auction and cleaned it up nicely. 1 Quote
