Inscription opinions?

Hello,

I have this old Katana blade that has a signature on the Nakago, however I have no clue where to start or if it can be translated so I thought I’d get some opinions.

Hi Max, you will need to provide much clearer images with better contrast if you want help, you can dust a small amount of talcum powder or chalk into the Mei for more visibility.

I tried a little powder on the Mei, and tried adjusting the contrast, but it appears the Mei has gone a bit to the ages.
