Thanks for the link, Peter. I had a look around and found that there is more information about this Geweer on their Japanese page. (They also have two Hinawaju, one of which is an Iyo gun, but they do not seem to know that.)

 

Incidentally the Japanese seem to use Furu-ju 古銃 and Koshiki-ju 古式銃 almost interchangeably. Perhaps Koshiki-ju sounds a little more precise and formal. (?)
