Naginata Tsuba

Hi All

Looking for a tsuba for a naginata project .

Iron would be preferred and old.

Hello:

 While there are drawings in the literature of tsuba on naginata, nagamaki and yari, the real thing is quite rare in my experience and from those I have seen, only in pictures, they seem to be adaptations from already made tsuba.

Talking of yari tsuba, Aoi have a tsuba that they say "may" have been used for that reason.

 

I know its not what the op is looking for, but thought some folk would find it interesting.

Noticed another with an altered nakago-ana, possibly a tsuba that goes along with what Arnold mentions above.

There are several threads around the site on this subject, i.e. what size and shape they should be, and what the nakago-ana should look like. Maybe these threads all need to be tied together somehow.
