The only thing I can read is Kanzan Sato sayagaki, but that is a very positive start!

Round shape iron....
Mumei Akasaka Tada.....
Showa....
Signature of Sato Kanzan

Some doubt about the zodiac sign, but the options are very limited and this is the closest.

Love it! Very fine tsuba. 

I think Shotō (lit. first winter) would be basically November 1969.

For sure is a bell cricket, a description i found in Japanese say is a wave, but it could well be a fern frond
