I need a bit of clarification on this sayagaki... I have the characters all in place, and am just a bit unclear on a couple of the meanings. I probably have the choice of words wrong too throughout. I have to rely a lot on computer assistance for these.

 

但大磨上無銘藩政期ハ鍋島家ノ傳来同工ノ一作域ナル

Tadashi o-suriage mumei han sei ki ha Nabeshima ke no denrai doukou no issaku iki naru.

Although shortened and unsigned, this work of the smith was one of three handed down from the feudal period by the lords of the House of Nabeshima.

 

大和氣質ノ混在スル出来口也

Yamato ki shitsu no konzai deki kuchi nari

The qualities of the workmanship show the spirit of the Yamato style.

 

沸ノ働キ見事亦地刃洗練味有之候

Nie no hataraki ki migoto mata jiba senren mi ari kore sourou

The activities of nie in the jihada and hamon are beautiful and of refined taste,

 

而格調頗ル高矣

shikashite kakuchou sukoburu takashi

as well as noble in the highest degree.

As my interpretation;

同工ノ一作域ナル大和氣質ノ混在スル出来口也

The workmanship includes the spirit of the Yamato style, which was one (typical) style of the smith’s.
