Shinto Wakizashi? Identification Help

Hi guys,

 

Could anyone help with placing that wakizashi into right period? I was thinking shinto but perhaps anyone else would have different opinion?

Thank you. The blade seems to be Machi Okuri but in my cheap oppinion it is not Sue Koto but later than that. Has not seen much polishing.

1700's is a good shout. Doesn't look earlier than Genroku but I suck at identifying anything later than that.

Nagako is the give away in my cheap oppinion.

I also think late Muromachi due to saki-zori curvature but can't rule out early edo due to patina on Nakago.. so in considering these points.. I'll take a stand at momoyama and be somewhere in the transitional period.
