Krystian Posted October 23, 2017 Report Posted October 23, 2017 Hi, Could you help me with reading this origami? Thank you in advance. Krystian Quote
Shugyosha Posted October 23, 2017 Report Posted October 23, 2017 Hi Krystian, The first part is: 向鶴透鐔 無銘 (土佐) Muku tsuru sukashi tsuba mu mei (Tosa) - Unsigned Tosa school, sukashi tsuba with cranes face to face. Unfortunately, the kanji in the description are a bit too fluid for me - I think I can make out "iron ground" (地鉄) at the start and "ji sukashi" (地透) at the end, but I can't help with the parts in the middle. Sorry. Best regards, John 1 Quote
Bugyotsuji Posted October 23, 2017 Report Posted October 23, 2017 How much of the paper do you want to read? With John's lead maybe we can get a bit closer with the attribution/description. 鉄地 Tetsuji 変形 kawarigata (unusual shape) 肉彫 nikubori (bas-relief) 地透 ji-sukashi? Oh, and given 'Tokubetsu Kicho' in September of Showa 50. 3 Quote
